Operational groundwork included an ortho/LiDAR survey over the Takla-Rainbow zones and rehabilitation of the historic Twin Camp — demolition of dilapidated infrastructure, terrain modelling, and access road improvements. The site is ready for a drilling campaign the moment assays give the green light.

Surface sampling has already confirmed sulphide and copper mineralisation at outcrop. The pending assays, which will be released under NI 43-101 standards, are designed to test whether gold mineralisation extends over broader intervals — a key indicator for bulk-tonnage potential in a zone that has seen little historical data collection. The broader commodity backdrop adds urgency to the story. Gold has been trading at historic highs, with the spot price hovering above $4,650 per ounce in late April. J.P. Morgan analysts see further upside, forecasting a run to $5,000 this year on sustained physical demand. Copper, the project’s secondary focus, is tightening structurally. Goldman Sachs projects an average price of $12,650 per tonne in 2026, with supply constraints from Strait of Hormuz disruptions and Chinese sulphuric acid export bans compounding the squeeze. A global copper deficit of roughly three million tonnes is expected by 2036.
