Investors sent PNE AG's stock price tumbling to a fresh 52-week low on Friday, following the release of the wind farm developer's full-year 2025 figures. The annual report presented a conflicting picture, combining annual revenue growth with a severe fourth-quarter contraction and a widening annual loss.

Annual Performance Reveals Profitability Struggle

For the complete 2025 financial year, PNE managed to increase its revenue by 9.4% to approximately 230 million euros. However, this top-line growth failed to translate into bottom-line strength. The company's loss per share nearly tripled year-over-year, deteriorating from a loss of 0.18 euros per share in the prior year to a deficit of 0.56 euros per share for 2025. This sharp divergence between rising revenues and declining profitability has significantly eroded market confidence.

Fourth Quarter Sees Sharp Revenue Decline

The momentum at PNE noticeably slowed as the year drew to a close. A substantial downturn occurred in the final quarter, with revenue contracting by nearly 34% to 88.0 million euros. Although the loss per share showed a relative improvement, narrowing from minus 0.46 euros to minus 0.09 euros in the quarter, this was insufficient to alleviate investor concerns over the company's diminishing order volume.

Technical Chart Points to Sustained Selling Pressure

The market's reaction was immediate and pronounced. On Friday, PNE shares declined by 2.85%, closing at 7.49 euros. This price action established a precise new 52-week low for the equity. Since the start of the year, the cumulative decline now exceeds 26%.

The stock's current position highlights the severity of the downtrend, trading well below its 200-day moving average of 11.37 euros. Market observers suggest that the search for a stable price floor is likely to continue until the company demonstrates an operational turnaround, successfully converting its revenue growth into sustainable profits.
