Plug Power, the prominent hydrogen technology firm, has executed a substantial financial maneuver that left market participants reeling. While securing an immediate $370 million capital infusion, the company triggered a sharp decline in its share price as investors weighed the benefits of improved liquidity against potential equity dilution.
The hydrogen specialist revealed an agreement with an institutional investor involving the immediate exercise of all outstanding warrants from March 2025. This transaction will inject $370 million directly into company coffers through the sale of more than 185 million shares priced at $2.00 each.
