Ondas Holdings: A Paper Profit Fails to Impress the Market
21.03.2026 - 06:16:17 | boerse-global.deInvestors sold off shares of Ondas Holdings on Friday, despite the company releasing preliminary figures that showed a massive jump in net income and an upgraded revenue forecast. A closer examination reveals a significant disconnect between the accounting result and the firm's ongoing operational performance.
Operational Losses Lurk Behind Accounting Gain
The company's updated guidance for the full year 2025 appears strong at first glance. Management now anticipates revenue in the range of $49.7 million to $50.7 million, surpassing previous analyst estimates of approximately $48.4 million. More strikingly, Ondas forecasts a net profit reaching up to $50.9 million.
However, this surplus is primarily attributable to a non-cash, accounting gain of about $102 million. This paper profit stemmed from the revaluation of financial warrants and does not reflect actual cash flow. Excluding this one-time item reveals the underlying business reality: Ondas still expects to post an adjusted EBITDA loss between $31.0 million and $31.5 million for 2025.
This clear divergence between the reported bottom-line profit and the persistent operational cash burn explains the market's skeptical reaction. Following the release, the stock price declined by 6.33 percent to €8.73.

Solid Balance Sheet Supports Ambitious Targets
Financially, the company is well-positioned for its future plans. Ondas Holdings reported a cash position of approximately $551 million at the end of 2025. This liquidity was substantially bolstered in January 2026 by a further capital raise of roughly $1 billion. The company has already deployed a portion of these funds, participating as a strategic investor in a $150 million financing round for Unusual Machines.
Looking ahead, the leadership has reaffirmed its ambitious sales target of $170 million to $180 million for the current 2026 fiscal year. This projection does not yet include potential future acquisitions. Ondas Holdings will present its final, audited results and provide further details on its operational progress during a conference call scheduled for March 25.
