While one focuses on embedding artificial intelligence into creative media tools, the other aims to strengthen its global service footprint for the construction sector. Tencent Cloud Partnership to Power Creative Workflows

A core development is a strategic partnership agreement between Nemetschek subsidiary Maxon and Tencent Cloud. The collaboration centers on integrating the Tencent HY 3D Global AI-Engine directly into the popular Cinema 4D software suite. The objective is to establish an AI-assisted workflow tailored for professional users in the media and entertainment industries.

The primary benefit for creatives will be a significant acceleration in early-stage work. The technology will enable the automatic generation of 3D and UV models from text prompts or reference images, serving as a foundational starting point for the creative process. In this model, AI provides the raw material, while detailed refinement continues within established professional tools.

Maxon has clarified a critical detail: these new AI functions will be optional. The company emphasizes that existing workflows will not be forcibly overhauled. Furthermore, assets generated by the AI can be fully edited using Maxon's standard toolset—including capabilities for sculpting, animation, and rendering—while maintaining compatibility across the broader ecosystem with applications like ZBrush, Red Giant Tools, and Redshift.

Strengthening Global AEC/O Operations with Neilsoft

Concurrently, Nemetschek is bolstering its operational capabilities in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AEC/O) domain. In the first week of March, the group appointed Neilsoft as a global service provider for its architecture and construction industry solutions.

The plan involves establishing a dedicated Center of Excellence. This center is designed to serve international client requirements more centrally and efficiently. Thematically, the initiative will concentrate on Digital Twin technologies and enhancing cross-location design collaboration. An additional goal is the development of customized software solutions to enable a faster response to evolving demands in the global marketplace.
