The company's revenue performance was nothing short of explosive. For Q4 2025, MercadoLibre generated approximately $8.76 billion, marking a year-over-year surge of 45%. This growth was driven by both core segments: e-commerce revenue advanced by 40% to $4.98 billion, while the fintech division saw an even more impressive 51% climb to $3.78 billion. For the full 2025 fiscal year, total revenue reached $28.89 billion with a net income of $2 billion.

However, the quarter's net profit of $559 million fell short of analyst projections. Earnings per share came in at $11.03, a figure that disappointed market participants and triggered a negative reaction in the stock.

This aggressive investment strategy has directly impacted profitability metrics. The company's operating margin contracted to 10.1%, down from 13.5% in the same quarter the previous year. Operating expenses rose by more than 50% as a direct result of these growth-focused investments.
