Marsh McLennan Appoints New Leader to Drive International Expansion Strategy

Global professional services firm Marsh McLennan has established a new executive role to spearhead its commercial growth outside North American markets. The company announced that Renee McGowan will assume the position of International Chief Commercial Officer, effective October 1, 2025, consolidating worldwide sales and client strategy under her leadership.

McGowan brings extensive experience to this newly created C-suite position, having been with the organization since 2001. Her most recent role as CEO for the India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region demonstrated her capacity for driving growth and innovation in diverse markets. She will maintain leadership of both positions concurrently until early 2026, with expectations of her subsequent relocation to Europe.
