Bittium restructures leadership, appointing Hanna Hulkko to lead its Engineering Services and accelerate the global commercialization of AI and data solutions.

Bittium Oyj is restructuring its senior management team to accelerate its international growth strategy. The Finnish technology company has appointed Hanna Hulkko as the new Senior Vice President to lead its Engineering Services Business Segment, effective June 11, 2026.

Strategic Appointment with Cross-Sector Expertise

Hanna Hulkko joins Bittium with over two decades of experience in international B2B and public sector technology markets. Her most recent position was at Tieto, where she led international sales and business development for the Data Driven Care division. Her professional background spans several critical industries, including healthcare, defense, and security. These sectors align directly with Bittium's core strategic focus areas, making her expertise particularly valuable for the company's future direction.

Internal Realignment Focuses on AI Commercialization

This leadership change is part of a deliberate internal shift. The current segment head, Jari Inget, will transition into a new role as Business Development Director instead of leaving the unit. In this capacity, he will concentrate on the segment's key strategic initiatives.

The company stated that the managerial update is specifically designed to enhance the commercialization of its artificial intelligence and data solutions in global markets. A particular emphasis will be placed on expanding its embedded AI offerings. Upon starting her new role on June 11, Hulkko will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Petri Toljamo.
