The system’s capability to scan with a 3x3 centimeter resolution across a 200-meter swath on either side allows for detailed monitoring of subsea infrastructure and the detection of objects like naval mines.

A key operational benefit is real-time data transmission. Intelligence gathered by the autonomous system is streamed directly to a command center on land. This enables naval units to identify potential threats and secure maritime routes while completely removing personnel from hazardous waters. The entire sequence—from deployment and active seabed scanning to recovery—was executed autonomously during the demonstration.

This latest demonstration in Turkey follows a series of prior technical validations, including a similar exercise with the British Royal Navy in November 2025. The presence of representatives from multiple naval forces as observers in Istanbul underscores the tangible military demand for advanced unmanned maritime solutions.
