Highland Critical Minerals raises $400,000 via flow-through shares to fund exploration at its prospective Sy Project in Nunavut, with a strategic review planned for its Church Property.

Following the spin-off of its gold assets at the end of 2025, Highland Critical Minerals is intensifying its search for strategically vital resources. The explorer is now equipped for the upcoming field season in Canada, thanks to a recently closed financing round, with a promising site in Nunavut taking center stage.

Capital Injected for Specific Exploration

The company finalized a private placement last Thursday, raising 400,000 Canadian dollars. This capital was secured through the issuance of 1.6 million Flow-Through shares at a price of 0.25 CAD each. This specific financial instrument mandates that the funds be used exclusively for qualifying exploration expenditures within Canada, offering participating investors attractive tax advantages in return.

The Sy Project: A Primary Target

A significant portion of the newly acquired capital is earmarked for the Sy Project. Located in Nunavut's Yathkyed Lake Greenstone Belt, this 3,345-hectare property is considered geologically highly prospective for critical minerals. With financing secured, management can proceed on schedule with planned fieldwork in this remote region. The immediate objective for geologists is to better define mineralized zones and demonstrate the site's potential for supplying future industrial technologies.

Strategic Review for Church Property

Alongside its activities in Nunavut, the company's management is preparing for a key strategic decision regarding its Church Property. A determination is expected this spring, following a review of current geological analyses and historical data. This evaluation will guide whether exploration work on the property will be expanded or adjusted.

The newly issued shares are subject to a statutory hold period lasting until August 2026. By that time, initial results from the ongoing exploration phase at the Sy Project should be apparent, and the strategic path forward for the Church Property will be established.
