Hermès International (FR0000052292) shares traded lower on Euronext Paris on Monday after Jefferies highlighted the luxury group’s July 29 first-half results. Reuters and Investing.com both cited the note, which also flagged mixed China demand and a lower price target.

Jefferies cuts its target

Jefferies kept a Buy rating and reduced its target to 2,000 euros from 2,400 euros, according to the cited report. The brokerage said investors will watch the July 29 update for signs of momentum recovery.

The same market commentary said Kepler Cheuvreux warned of about 100 basis points of adjusted EBIT margin compression in the first-half figures. That makes the upcoming report the central date on the calendar for Hermès investors.
