Green Bridge Metals Reports Promising Copper and Titanium Intercepts in Minnesota Drilling

Initial drill results from Minnesota's Titac project show visual copper and titanium mineralization, supporting a dual-commodity deposit model ahead of final assays.

Exploration firm Green Bridge Metals has announced preliminary findings from its ongoing Titac project drill program in Minnesota, USA. The initial visual inspection of core samples points to a significant geological structure, with indications of both copper and titanium mineralization. These early observations were made prior to the receipt of final, certified laboratory assays.

Systematic Drilling Program Underway

The company has completed the first phase of its 2024 campaign, finishing three diamond drill holes with a combined meterage of approximately 1,200 meters. The primary focus of this work is to systematically map the extent of the mineralized zone. Across broad intervals, ranging from 100 to 450 meters in depth, geologists logged visible sulfide mineralization. They specifically identified chalcopyrite, a key copper-bearing mineral, within the rock cores.

A Dual-Commodity Discovery Model Gains Support

A critical development from this drilling is the consistent presence of ilmenite, the primary titanium-bearing mineral, across all three holes. This aligns with the existing resource estimate for the southern section of the Titac project, which outlines nearly 47 million tonnes of rock grading 15% titanium oxide. According to Chief Geologist Ajeet Millard, the spatial association of copper and titanium within the same geological formation reinforces the model of a combined deposit, effectively confirming a potential second revenue stream for the project.

The discovery of visual copper mineralizations in close proximity to the defined titanium resource base is particularly encouraging for the company's exploration thesis. The current drill cores are now en route to an independent laboratory for comprehensive analysis. Green Bridge Metals has stated it will disclose the precise ore grades once it receives and verifies these analytical results. The larger program, designed to include a total of six drill holes, remains active.
