Graphite One Ramps Up Investor Outreach with Strategic Hires and Marketing Push

26.02.2026 - 14:12:39 | boerse-global.de

Graphite One secures CAD $35M financing for its anode facility, appoints a local VP for community relations, and launches targeted marketing campaigns in the US and Europe.

Graphite One Inc. is intensifying its communications and marketing initiatives on both sides of the Atlantic. This strategic push comes as the company prepares for upcoming project milestones, with a clear objective of boosting its profile among investors and stakeholders.

Capital Raise Fuels Strategic Initiatives

The timing of this outreach effort follows closely on the heels of a significant capital infusion. On February 18, Graphite One successfully closed a financing round, raising gross proceeds of CAD $35 million. This included the full exercise of the over-allotment option. The company placed 20,002,000 units at a price of CAD $1.75 per unit. Each unit comprised one common share and one warrant, with each warrant exercisable for an additional share at CAD $2.25 for a period of 36 months.

Management stated that the net proceeds are earmarked primarily for expenditures related to a planned Advanced Anode Materials (AAM) facility. These costs include design, engineering, permitting, and equipment, alongside general working capital requirements.

Strengthening Community Ties with Key Appointment

A central element of Graphite One's strategy is reinforcing its community engagement in Alaska, where its Graphite Creek project is located on the Seward Peninsula. To that end, the company has appointed Lucille Carter as its new Vice President of Community Relations, effective immediately.

Carter joins from the Bering Strait Native Corporation, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President for Regional and Shareholder Services. Her background provides a direct connection to the project region, having grown up in Nome and Teller, communities in close proximity to Graphite Creek. CEO Anthony Huston emphasized that Carter's hiring is designed to elevate the company's local commitment, ensuring that communities like Teller, Brevig Mission, Mary’s Igloo, and Nome benefit from the project's advancement. Carter will be based out of the company's Anchorage office.

Transparent Budget for Transatlantic Marketing Campaigns

In parallel, Graphite One has formalized two distinct marketing agreements aimed at enhancing its visibility in North America and Europe. The company disclosed the specific financial commitments for these campaigns.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Graphite One?

For the U.S. market, Graphite One has engaged i2i Marketing Group of Key West, Florida. The initial contract term is four months, commencing March 1, 2026. The agreement stipulates an upfront payment of $250,000, followed by fees of up to $250,000 per month for the remainder of the term, with provisions for monthly extensions thereafter.

In Europe, the company has extended its existing agreement with Germany's MCS Market Communication Service GmbH. The original six-month contract, initiated in September 2025, carried a total budget of €800,000. The renewed agreement allows for payments of up to €350,000 per month over a four-month period and includes an option for early termination. Graphite One clarified that neither service provider receives securities as compensation and that both firms operate at arm's length from the company.

Market Context and Forward Focus

This communications offensive unfolds against a challenging market backdrop for the stock. Despite a minor recovery in the latest session, Graphite One's shares, trading at €0.85, show a decline of approximately 44.34% over the preceding 30-day period. This market performance underscores the perceived importance of heightened visibility and strategic narrative-building for the company at this juncture.

Looking ahead, investor attention will likely focus on two key developments: the measurable impact of these new communications and marketing efforts on capital market perception, and the pace at which Graphite One can advance its AAM-related project work utilizing its newly strengthened balance sheet.
