Critical minerals developer Graphite One Inc. is moving decisively to advance its flagship project, announcing key executive appointments and significant marketing agreements. These steps follow closely on the heels of the company's successful CAD $35 million capital raise, signaling a ramp-up in operational and promotional activities.

Strategic Leadership Appointment Focuses on Local Ties

In a move to strengthen its community engagement, Graphite One has appointed Lucille Carter as Vice President of Community Relations, effective immediately. Carter joins from the Bering Strait Native Corporation, where she served as Senior Vice President for Regional Affairs and Shareholder Services.

The appointment carries strategic weight due to Carter's deep local roots. Having grown up in Nome and Teller, communities near the Graphite Creek deposit on Alaska’s Seward Peninsula, she brings intrinsic understanding of the region. Anthony Huston, CEO of Graphite One, emphasized that her hiring would enhance the quality of collaboration with local communities as the project progresses through permitting and development phases.

Concurrent Marketing Push Across Key Regions

Alongside the management change, the company unveiled two substantial marketing agreements designed to amplify its investor outreach.

In the United States, Graphite One has engaged Florida-based i2i Marketing Group. The contract commences on March 1, 2026, has an initial term of four months, and carries a monthly cost of up to $250,000. A one-time upfront payment of an equal amount is also included.

For its European efforts, the company is extending its relationship with Germany’s MCS Market Communication Service GmbH. This agreement is valued at up to €350,000 per month, also for a four-month period initially, with provisions for continuation on a month-to-month basis.

Collectively, these commitments represent a potential expenditure exceeding $2 million for the first four months alone. This substantial outlay appears feasible following the recent financing round, indicating the company's commitment to increasing its market profile.

The foundation for this activity was laid in mid-February when Graphite One raised CAD $35 million through a placement of approximately 20 million units at CAD $1.75 each. The proceeds are earmarked for the company's planned anode material production facility in Warren, Ohio, specifically for design, engineering, permitting, and equipment purchases.

The Graphite Creek resource, identified by the U.S. Geological Survey as the largest known graphite deposit in the nation, is central to the company's strategy. Graphite One aims to establish a fully domestic U.S. supply chain for graphite and battery anode materials—an objective garnering significant attention amid broader political drives for resource independence.

The combination of localized personnel strengthening, intensified investor communication, and a fortified balance sheet suggests Graphite One is positioning itself to accelerate project development while simultaneously enhancing its visibility in the capital markets over the coming months.
