The major online sale events of June may have ended, but the appetite for home-office upgrades shows no sign of cooling. In a market increasingly defined by technology and sustainability, buyers are finding ergonomic furniture and peripherals available at sharp discounts — sometimes with generous warranties thrown in.
Tech and comfort converge in seating
Razer’s new Soma Chroma wireless gaming chair illustrates how far the category has moved beyond simple lumbar support. The chair illuminates with 16.8 million colors and includes an ergonomic lumbar arch and a backrest that reclines up to 155 degrees. Power can come from USB-C, a power adapter, or even a portable battery pack. Corsair, meanwhile, brought out an adapted Ironclaw Wireless SE mouse in June, designed for larger hands.
Discounts on premium models and new entrants
During the June promotion period through the 26th, retailers offered substantial savings on office seating. The Clouvou ProSeat was available for under 280 euros, while the Sihoo M57 dropped to 161.49 euros. Even premium models saw movement: Chairgo listed the Herman Miller Embody from roughly 1,269 euros and the Aeron from 1,119 euros.
Into that landscape steps Ofinto, a newer brand promoting an IGR-certified “Active” office chair with a ten-year warranty and a 100-day return policy. The chair supports up to 130 kilograms and fits users between 1.60 and 2.00 meters tall.
Desks rise – literally
Height-adjustable desks continue their boom. The Desktronic Home One carried a discount of about 19 percent in June. Many users are pairing such desks with walking pads — the model from HomeTro saw particularly strong demand.
Alongside desks, complementary equipment also benefited from markdowns. The BenQ ScreenBar Pro sold for 118.15 euros, and the HP LaserJet MFP M235sdw multifunction printer went for roughly 161 euros.
Sustainability emerges as a selling point
Manufacturers are increasingly highlighting eco-friendly materials. Acer’s new 34-inch monitor, the Vero CB343CURJ0, combines an UWQHD display with a USB-C docking station that delivers 140 watts of charging power and includes a KVM switch. The monitor’s chassis is made from 85 percent post-consumer recycled plastic.
Convenience products for the home are also seeing green features and heavy discounts. Robot vacuum-mop combos such as the Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro and models from Lefant sold with savings of up to 400 euros, with hot-water cleaning and Lidar navigation as the key draws.
