Exploration Success at Tocvan Ventures' Mexican Gold-Silver Project

Tocvan Ventures reports a new gold-silver discovery 1.6km from the main Pilar zone, confirming a larger mineralized system. Drilling continues with more results expected.

Tocvan Ventures Corp. has reported significant new exploration results from its Pilar project in Mexico, with a fresh gold-silver discovery substantially expanding the asset's known potential. The latest findings from the El Mezquite target area within the South Block provide strong validation for the company's ongoing exploration strategy.

New Discovery Extends Project Footprint

Drill hole JES-26-135 intersected mineralization beginning at surface. The results included an interval of approximately 23 meters grading 0.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. A higher-grade subsection of this interval returned 1.6 g/t gold and 13 g/t silver. A second mineralized zone was encountered at a depth of 122 meters, assaying 0.4 g/t gold over nearly 11 meters.

Critically, this new discovery is located roughly 1.6 kilometers from the project's previously defined main zone. This distance confirms the geological hypothesis that the mineralized system covers a much larger area than earlier data had indicated.

Systematic South Block Program Underway

The drilling is part of a larger, systematic campaign planned for 20,000 meters. To date, the company has completed just over 2,400 meters of this program. The focus in the South Block is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the regional geological structures and to methodically link the various mineralized zones across the property.

With only about one-tenth of the planned meterage finished, investors can anticipate a steady flow of additional assay results in the coming weeks. These future results will be crucial for determining the full scale and continuity of the new El Mezquite discovery. The ongoing work continues to build the case for a significantly larger mineralized system at the Pilar project.
