Exploration Success at Antimony Resources' Canadian Project Fuels Supply Chain Hopes

Antimony Resources advances drilling at its Canadian Bald Hill project, revealing high-grade intercepts and engaging SRK for a maiden resource estimate amid rising demand for critical minerals.

As Western industrial nations intensify their search for secure mineral supplies independent of China and Russia, exploration companies in stable jurisdictions are gaining significant attention. Antimony Resources is emerging as a potential player in this strategic shift, with ongoing drilling at its Bald Hill project in Canada yielding promising results that suggest a larger mineralized system than previously recognized.

A Critical Mineral in Focus

Antimony is classified as a critical mineral, essential for defense applications including ammunition and night-vision equipment, as well as for the semiconductor industry. Global demand is rising against a backdrop of a highly concentrated supply chain. The Bald Hill project, located in the mining-friendly province of New Brunswick, offers a strategic geographical advantage for future North American supply, with direct access to deep-sea ports and power grids.

Drilling Program Advances Core and New Zones

The company's management is currently advancing its operational tempo. Approximately 5,000 meters of a planned 10,000-meter drill program on the main zone have been completed. This intensive campaign, utilizing a tight 50-meter drill spacing, aims to establish a robust foundation for an initial mineral resource estimate.

Recent field work, however, has revealed particularly compelling findings outside the primary deposit area. West of the main deposit, in a newly identified area called the Marcus Zone, geologists encountered massive stibnite mineralizations over a minimum length of ten meters. High-grade intercepts, with peak values reaching up to 8.47% antimony in the southern and central sections of the property, strongly indicate the presence of an extensive mineralized system.

Path to a Maiden Resource Estimate

To translate these discoveries into a formal assessment, the company this month engaged the services of SRK Consultants from Toronto. Their mandate is to prepare the first official Mineral Resource Estimate for the project. SRK brings valuable expertise from a similar antimony project in Newfoundland, which is now under Chinese ownership.

Financially, the exploration company is well-positioned for this critical phase. Following a financing round of $10 million in late 2025 and fresh capital from exercised warrants, an exploration budget of approximately $3 million Canadian dollars is available for the current year. The ongoing drill program is scheduled for completion by the end of April. Final assay results are anticipated three to four weeks later, forming the core data set for the forthcoming resource estimate.
