Powermax Minerals has reached a pivotal exploration milestone at its Cameron rare earths project in British Columbia, with recent sampling results providing a robust technical foundation for its inaugural drilling program. The company is concurrently expanding its North American asset base with projects in Ontario and Wyoming, targeting critical minerals essential for the energy transition.

Sampling Reveals Extensive Mineralized Trend

Recent geochemical soil and rock sampling at the Cameron property, located south of Revelstoke, has yielded highly encouraging results. Exploration teams have delineated a north-south trending corridor exceeding one kilometer in length that exhibits significantly elevated rare earth element (REE) concentrations.

Soil samples within this zone returned total rare earth oxide (TREO) values as high as 2,840 parts per million (ppm), with an average grade of approximately 340 ppm. These findings were substantiated by subsequent rock chip samples taken from outcropping pegmatite, which confirmed the presence of the sought-after elements in bedrock with assays reaching up to 741 ppm TREO.

Geological experts have classified the mineralization as belonging to the NYF-type pegmatite family. The most pronounced geochemical anomalies are concentrated within a specific claim block on the property. This spatial clustering strongly suggests a substantial source at shallow depth and validates the company's existing geological model for the project area.

Operational Progress Contrasts with Market Performance

Despite these technical advances, the company's share price has faced considerable headwinds in the public markets. Since the start of the year, the equity has declined by more than 77 percent, currently trading near 0.26 Euros. This price places the stock in close proximity to its 52-week low.

Management's focus remains firmly on advancing the Cameron project toward drilling. The immediate next steps involve detailed mapping and trenching work designed to finalize precise drill targets. These activities will form the direct basis for mobilizing the first drill rigs to the site.

The company's strategic emphasis aligns with the growing global demand for rare earth elements, which are crucial components in permanent magnets used for electric vehicle motors and wind turbines. The expansion of its portfolio into Ontario and Wyoming is a deliberate move to build a pipeline of assets targeting this critical supply chain.
