The company's strategic pivot from Bitcoin mining to providing artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure is set to generate its first revenues as early as April. This shift hinges on the imminent operational launch of its inaugural modular data center in Alabama.

Operational Timeline and Business Model Shift

The company has outlined a clear operational schedule. Initial GPU computing workloads are slated to be processed at the Alabama facility by the third week of March. Management anticipates the complete commissioning of its "ARMS 200" system by early April. This event will mark Digi Power X's official entry into the "GPU-as-a-Service" market. This transformation was initiated last year when the company ceased Bitcoin mining operations at the site to repurpose the infrastructure into a specialized AI hub.

Financial Foundation and Expansion Blueprint

Financially, Digi Power X appears well-positioned to fund its expansion. As of February 27, the company reported liquidity of approximately $80 million, comprising cash and digital assets. A key factor providing stability during this capital-intensive transition is that the firm remains entirely debt-free.

The ambitions for growth extend well beyond a single site. The company plans to increase AI capacity at the Alabama location to 10 megawatts (MW) by the third quarter of 2026. Concurrently, it aims to bring five additional units online at its North Tonawanda site in New York state before the end of June.

Scaling hardware capacity is identified as the primary lever for future growth. Based on current market rates for server rentals and assuming high utilization, Digi Power X calculates an annual revenue potential of roughly $15 million per megawatt.

Focus Shifts to Execution and Future Reporting

With the infrastructure build-out underway, the corporate focus is now shifting to operational execution and achieving actual utilization rates for the new systems. Investors will gain further insight into the progress and profitability of this new segment when Digi Power X releases its next quarterly figures on March 30, 2026.
