Coeur Mining Reports Record Financial Performance and Charts Expansion Path

Coeur Mining has unveiled its 2025 financial results, posting record-breaking figures. The U.S.-based gold and silver producer achieved a significant milestone with annual revenue climbing to $2.1 billion. Net income saw a substantial rise, reaching $586 million. The company is also poised for a strategic acquisition expected to reshape its production profile substantially.

Strategic Acquisition and Future Outlook

A central element of Coeur's growth strategy is its pending acquisition of New Gold. The transaction is anticipated to close in the first half of 2026. Management believes this integration will solidify Coeur's position as a diversified North American precious metals producer and significantly broaden its asset base.

Following the completion of the New Gold deal, the company plans to issue updated guidance for the combined entity. The merger of assets and leadership teams is viewed as a pivotal move for Coeur's long-term development. For 2026, Coeur's standalone production guidance forecasts gold output between 390,000 and 460,000 ounces, with silver production estimated in the range of 18.2 to 21.3 million ounces.

Operational and Financial Highlights

The company's strong annual performance was bolstered by an impressive fourth quarter. In Q4 2025, Coeur generated $675 million in revenue and recorded a marked increase in free cash flow. For the full year, operating cash flow totaled $887 million.

On the production front, Coeur mined 419,046 ounces of gold alongside 17.9 million ounces of silver in 2025. Speaking at the BMO Global Metals, Mining & Critical Minerals Conference on February 24, CEO Mitchell Krebs highlighted that successful exploration programs have extended the mine life at key operations. He also noted that cost pressures, particularly from labor expenses, remain a persistent industry challenge.
