Bechtle Shares Approach Key Earnings Release

Investors are adopting a cautious stance ahead of Bechtle's final 2025 results, scheduled for publication on March 20. This hesitancy has pushed the share price to approximately €32.50, bringing it close to its 52-week low. The preliminary figures released earlier have set a high bar for the upcoming confirmed report.

Preliminary Results Set a Solid Foundation

In early February, the IT group disclosed strong preliminary numbers for the full year 2025. The business volume expanded by roughly eight percent to nearly €8.6 billion, while revenue saw an increase of about two percent to €6.4 billion. The pre-tax profit (EBT) reached approximately €324 million. A particularly robust fourth quarter drove this performance, with EBT surging by more than 20 percent to just over €121 million in that period alone.

The market now awaits the final audited figures and strategic details at the annual press conference on March 20. This event will reveal whether Bechtle can confirm the positive momentum from the previous year.

Management Transition Underway in Bonn

On the operational front, Bechtle has initiated a structured leadership transition. Effective March 1, 2026, Simone Blome-Schwitzki assumed the role of Co-Managing Director at the Bonn IT system house. She joins the existing leadership team of Christian Behma and Thomas Teitge. This move prepares for the planned retirement of Waldemar Zgrzebski at the end of 2026.

Blome-Schwitzki joins from Also Holding AG, bringing extensive industry experience to the position. The Bonn site, with around 780 employees and branches in Cologne, Koblenz, Mainz, and Berlin, represents one of the larger units within the corporation. It manages framework agreements with providers such as Trend Micro and Appian and also hosts the group's own Quantum Technology Competence Center.

Challenging Outlook for the Coming Year

Looking ahead to 2026, Bechtle's management anticipates a persistently challenging market environment. Potential price increases from manufacturers and possible supply chain constraints could act as headwinds to growth. The company's guidance on navigating these conditions will be a focal point during the March conference.

The upcoming report is therefore a critical catalyst for the stock. It will determine if the preliminary strength translates into the official results and provide clarity on the company's trajectory amid the forecasted headwinds.
