Aventis Energy Commences Inaugural Drilling at Corvo Uranium Project

Aventis Energy has initiated its first diamond drilling campaign at the Corvo Uranium Project, located within Saskatchewan's prolific Athabasca Basin. The 2026 winter program is targeting the Manhattan Showing, an area known from historical exploration to contain high-grade uranium samples.

The company, which was renamed from Vital Battery Metals in May 2025, is undertaking this program as a critical test of the property's potential. The campaign follows an active 2025, which included securing drill permits and an initial tranche of a flow-through private placement.

The drilling plan calls for approximately 3,000 meters to be completed across eight to ten separate holes. The primary objective is to follow up on compelling historical surface samples from the Manhattan Showing zone, which previously returned assays of up to 8.10% U3O8. This mineralization is indicated over a strike length of roughly 800 meters based on past data.

Furthermore, the program aims to investigate a parallel electromagnetic corridor that extends for several kilometers.

This represents the first systematic attempt by Aventis Energy to verify the historical findings using contemporary drilling methodologies. The initial assay results, once available, are expected to provide crucial insight into the economic viability of the Corvo project.
