The total dividend for 2025 is set to rise to €7.50 per share, marking a 17 percent increase compared to the previous year. It serves as a response to emerging competitive efforts, such as those from U.S. startups like Substrate and xLight, which have reportedly raised hundreds of millions in funding to develop rival technologies. ASML's new method, which utilizes two laser pulses instead of one, demonstrates that the limits of the technology are still expanding. Company researchers already see a viable pathway to reaching 1,500 watts and beyond.
