Antimony Resources is undertaking a mandatory correction of its previous disclosures, following a directive from Canadian regulators. This development comes as the company operationally expands its drilling program in New Brunswick. Investors are now advised that no officially verified mineral resources currently exist for the Bald Hill project.

Operational Progress Continues Despite Regulatory Setback

While addressing the regulatory requirements, Antimony Resources continues to advance its 10,000-meter drilling campaign on the project site. To date, approximately 4,000 meters of definition drilling have been completed, focused on delineating the "Main Zone." Exploration teams continue to encounter massive stibnite mineralization.

Geological data indicates a deposit stretching over 700 meters in length and reaching depths of at least 350 meters. Current investigations show average widths of three to four meters with antimony grades between three and four percent. The project management has mobilized a third drill rig to accelerate the program. A key question is whether this increased capacity will allow the company to promptly gather the necessary data for its revised submission.

Additional drilling has commenced in a separate area known as the "Marcus" Zone, targeting mineralization at depths between 75 and 100 meters. The company also plans to employ trench sampling in two other areas where historical samples have indicated antimony occurrences, though these zones have seen minimal exploration to date.

Regulatory Directive from BCSC Requires Report Overhaul

The British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) has mandated clarifications to the technical report Antimony Resources published in November 2025. The regulator determined that the document did not contain mineral resources or exploration targets compliant with the applicable NI 43-101 standards.

In response, the company confirmed that no officially recognized mineral resources have been identified for the Bald Hill deposit at this time. The BCSC viewed prior statements regarding potential resources as potentially misleading. Antimony Resources is now preparing a revised technical report, which must undergo another review by the BCSC before being filed on the SEDAR+ platform.

Strategic Context of Antimony Supply

This operational push coincides with shifting geopolitical dynamics for critical minerals. Antimony is an essential raw material for military applications—including ammunition and night-vision technology—and for commercial flame retardants in the electronics industry.

Since late 2024, export restrictions from major producers have led to global supply constraints and record price peaks on international metal exchanges. This backdrop enhances the strategic relevance of North American exploration projects aiming to secure local supply chains. The Bald Hill project benefits from its proximity to regional highways and a deep-sea port.

Company leadership is now focused on finalizing the revised NI 43-101 report and completing the remaining 6,000 meters of drilling. Regulatory acceptance of the new report by the BCSC, along with the initial results from the Marcus Zone, represent the next key operational milestones.
