Antimony Resources Corp. has delivered its deepest intercept yet at the Bald Hill project in New Brunswick, with stibnite-grade antimony encountered at roughly 495 metres vertical depth. The result not only pushes the known mineralisation beyond the existing 350-metre footprint of the Main Zone but also suggests the system could be more vertically extensive than previously modelled.

The highest-grade hit of the batch stands at 13.9% antimony over a narrow 0.25-metre interval. A broader section in the same hole returned 3.13% over 1.75 metres, including a higher-grade core of 8.1% over 0.60 metres. Elsewhere, one drill hole cut 6.2 metres grading 1.67% antimony (including 0.8 metres at 4.52%), while another delivered 0.71% over 3.8 metres.

CEO James Atkinson described the assays from below 400 metres as particularly encouraging, pointing to continuity of mineralisation at depth — a critical variable for any future resource estimate. The company is still in the exploration stage; no formal NI 43-101 compliant resource exists yet. A conceptual target from a 2025 report outlined roughly 2.7 million tonnes grading between 3% and 4% antimony, but that figure remains preliminary.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Antimony Resources?

To close that data gap, Antimony Resources has mobilised three drill rigs to Bald Hill for a 19,000-metre campaign. Roughly 13,000 metres are earmarked for extending and defining the Main Zone, which already spans more than 600 metres of strike length. The remaining 6,000 metres will test emerging targets at Marcus, BH Central and BH South. The company has already completed over 25,000 metres in 77 holes since April 2025.

Last year’s acquisition of the Second Run Claims expanded the land package to 37 square kilometres. Surface sampling there has identified three anomalous antimony zones roughly three kilometres south of the main deposit, opening up the potential for a much larger mineralised district.

The junior explorer ended February 2026 with C$8.24 million in liquidity, partly derived from a late-2025 equity raise. Management expects that cash to fund the entire current drilling programme as well as ongoing metallurgical test work and environmental baseline studies. A formal permit application is scheduled for late 2026 or early 2027.

Antimony’s strategic profile continues to rise in North America. Peer Nova Minerals recently shipped mining equipment to its Estelle project in Alaska, while NevGold secured C$42.2 million via a placement for its antimony-gold assets in Nevada. Antimony Resources is positioning itself to join that group — provided the Bald Hill programme can transform conceptual promise into a measured resource.
