Antimony Resources Confirms Significant Mineralization at Bald Hill Project

Exploration activities at the Bald Hill project in New Brunswick, Canada, are advancing, with initial drilling results confirming substantial antimony mineralization. The company has completed the first 4,000 meters of its drilling program, revealing promising findings that point to the site's considerable potential.

Drilling Program Accelerates with Third Rig

To expedite the overall 10,000-meter campaign, a third drill rig has been mobilized to the site. This additional capacity is allowing the exploration team to expand its focus to include the western Marcus Zone. The core focus of the work remains on delineating the extent of high-grade antimony, a critical mineral increasingly vital for flame retardants, lead-acid batteries, and high-tech electronics. The Bald Hill initiative is strategically positioned to help establish a reliable North American supply chain for this resource.

Multiple High-Grade Zones Identified

To date, drilling has successfully identified four distinct zones containing massive stibnite mineralization, the primary ore source for antimony. Particularly within the principal zone, drill cores have consistently intersected significant widths of the sought-after mineral. These new zones underscore the extensive scale of the mineralized system, according to CEO Jim Atkinson. The ongoing work is systematically transitioning the project from pure exploration toward concrete resource definition.

Building on Historic Data for Future Development

The current program builds upon compelling historical data from the Central Zone. Previous sampling there recorded peak values of 8.47% antimony over a width of 1.53 meters, as well as 2.9% over 8.18 meters. The overarching exploration target for the project is approximately 2.7 million tonnes of ore, with an estimated average grade of three to four percent. This target scale, however, requires final confirmation through the ongoing drill campaign.

Upcoming results from the Marcus Zone, along with further delineation of the Main and Central Zones, are expected to provide the necessary data to construct a robust resource model. This model will be foundational for guiding the project's subsequent development phases.
