Zoomlion unveiled its 9DX hybrid tractor at the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition on October 26, 2026. Yonhap News Agency carried the company press release, which said the model delivers peak output of 1,600 horsepower and is designed for large-scale farming.
New model targets large farms
The 9DX uses a digital chassis, in-house core components and control systems, together with a hybrid continuously variable transmission and an 800-volt dual-motor coupling system. Zoomlion said the tractor generates peak torque of 7,200 newton-meters and has a hydraulic flow rate of 636 liters per minute, supporting wide seeders, heavy tillage equipment and variable-rate fertilizer applications.
A four-track drive system is designed to reduce soil compaction, while a suspended cab is intended to improve operator comfort. The launch broadens Zoomlion's hybrid agricultural machinery range and was presented alongside intelligent equipment, precision-farming technologies, software platforms and smart hardware.
International dealer network in focus
On October 28, Zoomlion hosted its 2027 Global Agricultural Machinery Dealer Conference in Changsha. More than 230 international partners attended, and partners from more than 20 countries signed commercial agreements, according to the release. The company said agricultural machinery is a strategic business and that it aims to support customers across the full cycle from tillage and planting to crop management, harvesting and storage.
Zoomlion's stated strategy combines high-end equipment, international expansion and new-energy technologies. The tractor launch therefore adds a product-development angle to the company's broader effort to build overseas partnerships and extend its agricultural machinery offering.
