WAM Leaders is preparing a further shareholder distribution after reporting strong FY26 portfolio performance. Kalkine Media reported on October 28 that the company had declared fully franked FY26 dividends totaling 9.6 cents per share.
The final 4.8-cent payment is scheduled to trade ex-dividend on November 17, 2026, and is due to be paid on November 30. The timetable gives income-focused shareholders a defined near-term distribution event, while the payment remains subject to the stated corporate schedule.
FY26 returns strengthened the case
WAM Leaders reported a 14.0 percent investment portfolio return for FY26 before expenses, fees, taxes and capital management effects. On the companys stated comparison basis, that result exceeded the S&P/ASX 200 Accumulation Index by 7.9 percentage points.
Profit after tax rose to about A$161.8 million in FY26 from about A$63.8 million in FY25. Portfolio performance before costs is not the same as a shareholders realised total return, so investors must assess the distribution alongside the listed investment companys market price, net tangible assets and capital management.
