- Vivara approved a five-year issue of simple, non-convertible debentures priced at CDI plus 0.65 percentage points.
- Part of the proceeds is earmarked to repay an offshore financing facility, while the company continues expanding its Brazilian retail network.
- Vivara operates a vertically integrated jewelry business through the Vivara and Life brands.
Vivara's board approved a new debt issue on October 13, 2026, putting financing and capital allocation in focus ahead of the company's next reporting update. According to El Fondo, the Brazilian jeweler plans to issue BRL 300 million of simple, non-convertible debentures.
New debt supports refinancing
The securities will mature in five years and carry annual remuneration of the daily interbank deposit rate plus 0.65 percentage points. Principal repayment is scheduled in two annual installments, according to the report.
Vivara plans to use BRL 208.59 million of the proceeds to settle an offshore financing facility. The refinancing element may reduce pressure from that obligation, while the new issue adds a defined medium-term debt commitment to the balance sheet.
Retail scale remains central
Vivara is Latin America's largest jewelry store chain, according to its investor-relations website. The company operates more than 450 points of sale across Brazil under the Vivara and Life brands and follows a vertically integrated model spanning product development through retail sales.
Its Manaus Free Trade Zone factory produces most of the products sold in its stores across gold, silver and watches. This combination of manufacturing and a broad domestic store network gives Vivara a more integrated operating profile than a pure retail model.
