- Revenue growth outpaced the increase in profit through September 2026.
- Higher inventories and lower cash shaped the balance sheet at the reporting date.
- Alfamart combines minimarket retail with digital payment and delivery services.
PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk, the operator of Indonesia's Alfamart minimarket network, reported stronger revenue and profit for the nine months ended September 30, 2026. Bisnis.com reported the figures from the company's consolidated financial statements.
Revenue growth remains positive
Net revenue reached 101.28 trillion Indonesian rupiah, up 7.21 percent from the same period of 2025. Net income attributable to owners of the parent company rose 3.79 percent to 2.40 trillion rupiah from 2.31 trillion rupiah a year earlier.
The results show continued top-line expansion, although profit grew more slowly than revenue. That pattern keeps margins and operating costs central to the investment case as Indonesia's modern retail market remains competitive.
Balance sheet shifts by September
Total assets stood at 42.288 trillion rupiah on September 30, down from 42.57 trillion rupiah at the end of 2025. Cash and cash equivalents declined about 24 percent to 3.57 trillion rupiah, while inventories increased to 13.61 trillion rupiah from 13.35 trillion rupiah.
Total liabilities fell to 22.70 trillion rupiah and total equity increased to 19.58 trillion rupiah. Treasury shares rose to 812.5 billion rupiah from 279.6 billion rupiah at the end of 2025.
Retail network and digital services
Alfamart operates a large Indonesian minimarket network serving everyday consumer demand through physical stores. Its official website also lists electronic money, bill payment, vouchers, ticketing, fund transfers, delivery services and the Alfagift shopping application among its customer services.
The company's core position is Indonesian convenience retail, with scale built around store coverage and recurring consumer purchases. Its digital services broaden customer access beyond the store network, while competitive pressure in modern retail remains an important consideration for future sales and profitability.
