SEI Investments stock gets a new ETF infrastructure deal

On the same date, PR Newswire reported that SEI had entered an agreement to integrate with Intercontinental Exchange's ICE ETF Hub.
ETF infrastructure adds scale
The integration is designed to improve the creation and redemption workflow for exchange-traded products and to support more standardized connectivity for issuers, authorized participants and market makers.
PR Newswire said the ICE platform connects more than 250 issuers and supports more than 1,800 ETPs. It had processed more than USD 5 trillion in cumulative notional volume through the second quarter of 2026, giving SEI access to an established operating network rather than a standalone system build.
Revenue grows as EPS diverges
SEI's second-quarter results provide the financial baseline for the new initiative. In the quarter ended June 30, 2026, SEI reported revenue of USD 641.617 million, up 15 percent from USD 559.601 million a year earlier.
Operating income increased 33 percent to USD 197.016 million from USD 148.635 million, lifting the operating margin to 31 percent from 27 percent. The comparison is less uniform at the bottom line: GAAP diluted EPS fell 11 percent to USD 1.59 from USD 1.78, even as the operating figures improved.
Analysts retain a positive view
Analyst attention remains constructive after the results and the new infrastructure agreement. Markets Insider reported on October 7, 2026 that KBW maintained a Buy rating and a USD 122.00 price target, while Wells Fargo had initiated coverage with a USD 129.00 target on October 2, 2026.
Stock Analysis lists a Buy consensus from 9 analysts and an average price target of USD 117.13. The target sits above the October 7 market price, but the stock remains below its 52-week high of USD 112.15, making execution of the growth strategy an important counterweight to the positive ratings.
SEIC remains below its yearly high
SEI Investments had a market capitalization of USD 12.3 billion and a 52-week range of USD 75.08 to USD 112.15 as of October 7, 2026. The Nasdaq-listed company operates in financial technology, investment processing, operations and asset management.
