SD Biosensor has set out a medium-term corporate-value plan aimed at expanding its diagnostics portfolio and improving profitability. The company disclosed the strategy on October 28, 2026, according to Biobook Media.
The plan focuses on rapid diagnostics, blood glucose testing, fluorescence immunoassays and molecular diagnostics. SD Biosensor said overseas direct sales had become a larger part of its commercial model and that net income returned to positive territory in the first half of 2026.
Regulatory access supports expansion
Management plans to increase the number of rapid diagnostic products with World Health Organization prequalification and to pursue additional sales through international procurement markets. The company also intends to expand the installed base and test menu for its STANDARD M molecular platform.
Further growth is tied to regulatory progress in Europe and the United States. SD Biosensor plans to pursue European market access under the In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Regulation and US Food and Drug Administration registrations for selected molecular diagnostic products.
Returns remain part of strategy
The corporate-value plan also includes continued dividends and treasury-share cancellations through 2028. Interim dividends could be considered if business performance improves, while the company plans regular investor-relations briefings to present progress and gather shareholder feedback.
