Poulina Group Holding recorded revenue growth in the first nine months of 2026, while third-quarter activity softened. African Manager reported on October 22 that revenue reached TND 3.218 billion through September, up 4.7 percent from the same period a year earlier.
Growth slows in third quarter
Domestic sales rose 4.5 percent year on year to TND 2.952 billion, while exports increased 7.2 percent to TND 265.7 million. Cumulative production reached TND 3.213 billion, an increase of 4.6 percent.
The third quarter alone was weaker: revenue fell 1 percent year on year to TND 1.099 billion. Domestic sales declined 2 percent, partly offset by a 13.2 percent rise in exports to TND 86.7 million.
Investment reshapes funding needs
Poulina increased cumulative investment to TND 214.8 million by the end of September, compared with TND 134 million a year earlier. Spending included poultry integration, slaughterhouse expansion, breeding-centre equipment, food-processing refrigeration and capacity expansion at a mayonnaise and margarine plant.
Bank debt stood at TND 1.153 billion at the end of September. That was 8.5 percent below the level at the end of 2025, although debt increased in food processing and poultry integration, the two areas receiving substantial investment. The figures point to a more capital-intensive expansion profile, with the effect on future earnings depending on execution and demand.
