Log-In completed a cargo transfer at a temporary floating pier in Itacoatiara on October 29, 2026, helping a container vessel continue toward Manaus during the Amazon dry season. Logistica Multimodal reported the operation on October 30.
Transfer supports Manaus cargo flows
The Log-In Endurance arrived with 2,212 TEUs. Log-In and Grupo Chibatao transferred 175 containers to barges, reducing the vessel's draft so it could proceed under the river conditions.
The temporary pier offers an alternative during the low-water period. The structure can handle cargo around the clock and combines cranes, barges and operating teams to keep shipments moving to the industrial and commercial markets around Manaus.
What investors should watch next
The operation highlights the importance of adapting vessel and cargo planning to seasonal navigation constraints. It does not by itself establish a change in earnings, but it shows how Log-In is using partner infrastructure to maintain service continuity.
The company's third-quarter results are scheduled for November 11, followed by an earnings call on November 12. Investors will be looking for updates on utilization, costs, cash generation and the contribution from port operations.
Business model and competitors
Log-In provides customized logistics solutions, port handling and coastal shipping integrated with road and other transport modes across Brazil and the Mercosur region. It operates a fleet of container ships and the Terminal de Vila Velha in Espirito Santo, according to Log-In Investor Relations. In a comparison of Brazilian listed logistics companies, Log-In is smaller by revenue and market value than JSL, EcoRodovias and Wilson Sons. Its specialization is the combination of coastal shipping, port operations and intermodal transport rather than a single road or terminal business.
