Kepco Kps stock reports KRW 438 billion Q2 revenue
Published on 10/07/2026 at 00:54 | Editorial responsibility: Rafael Müller, Editor-in-Chief AD HOC NEWSKepco Kps stock was last at KRW 45,350 on the Korea Exchange on October 6, 2026, after the company posted Q2 revenue of KRW 438 billion. The KRW 2.0 trillion company is now being judged on whether overseas nuclear maintenance can offset weaker domestic growth.
Q2 revenue fell 3.5 percent
According to ATS View, KEPCO Plant Service & Engineering generated KRW 438 billion in Q2 2026 revenue, down 3.5 percent from the prior-year quarter. Operating profit was KRW 43.6 billion, equal to a 10.0 percent margin, while net income reached KRW 38.3 billion.
The quarter was weaker than Q1 2026 on sales but still profitable: Q1 revenue was KRW 352 billion and operating profit was KRW 37.0 billion. The comparison points to a business with recurring maintenance demand, but also to earnings sensitivity when planned outages create higher labor and subcontracting costs.
NH cuts target to KRW 52,000
According to CHOSUNBIZ on September 29, 2026, NH Investment & Securities kept its Hold rating and reduced its target price to KRW 52,000 from KRW 55,500. The brokerage forecast Q3 revenue of KRW 399.6 billion and operating profit of KRW 51.4 billion, representing year-over-year increases of 1.5 percent and 8.4 percent.
NH identified limited access to the U.S. large nuclear power market and restrained domestic top-line growth as counterweights to the longer-term benefit of APR1400 exports. For investors, the key issue is timing: the brokerage said additional revenue recognition begins at commissioning, limiting the near-term effect of overseas nuclear projects.
Consensus remains above the stock
A five-target analyst compilation from StockHub dated September 29, 2026 showed an average target of KRW 65,200, a high of KRW 75,000 and a low of KRW 55,000. The average target lies 43.8 percent above the KRW 45,350 reference price, although the range also shows that analyst views remain spread across a KRW 20,000 interval.
KEPCO Plant Service & Engineering provides maintenance, commissioning, engineering and performance-improvement services for power-generation and transmission facilities. Its Q2 operating margin of 10.0 percent was below the 10.5 percent reported for Q1, making margin recovery an important test alongside revenue growth.
