KBC lifts target to EUR 64.00
The new target lies 26.28 percent above the Lang & Schwarz price. KBC analyst Kristof Samoy linked the increase to Vopak's operational resilience, investment decisions and expected profit growth from projects, as reported by IEX on October 5, 2026.
The same report said Vopak maintained a 91.00 percent occupancy rate in the first and second quarters of 2026. It also cited expected EBITDA growth of 6.50 percent in 2027 and 5.00 percent in 2028, giving the target increase a specific operating basis.
First-half cash generation sets the test
Vopak's first-half 2026 results showed proportional EBITDA of EUR 600.00 million and 5.00 percent growth from the first half of 2025, according to the Yahoo Finance transcript dated July 30, 2026. Operating cash return reached 15.30 percent on a rolling 12-month basis, compared with 15.20 percent in the first half of 2025.
Management raised the proportional EBITDA outlook for fiscal 2026 to a range of EUR 1.18 billion to EUR 1.22 billion and projected operating free cash flow of EUR 820.00 million, according to Yahoo Finance. The figures make execution of the growth portfolio more important than the headline target alone.
Gate terminal adds capacity
Gate Terminal, a joint venture between Gasunie and Vopak, commissioned a fourth LNG storage tank at the start of October 2026. The tank adds 180,000 cubic meters of storage and lifts total regasification capacity to 20 billion cubic meters per year, according to Hydrocarbon Engineering on October 2, 2026.
Vopak's investor calendar lists November 4, 2026, for publication of its third-quarter interim update, according to Vopak. That date provides the next scheduled checkpoint for occupancy, Gate Terminal contribution and progress toward the fiscal 2026 outlook.
