Published on 10/07/2026 at 03:51 | Editorial responsibility: Rafael Müller, Editor-in-Chief AD HOC NEWSIHH Healthcare stock was trading at MYR 7.74 on Bursa Malaysia on October 6, 2026, as the hospital operator entered the final quarter with Q2 PATMI excluding exceptional items up 30 percent year over year to MYR 675 million. The latest operating figures point to higher patient volumes, but the stock's valuation still depends on sustained execution across Singapore, Malaysia, India and Türkiye.
Q2 earnings reach MYR 675 million
According to Quartr in its Q2 2026 earnings summary, revenue reached MYR 7,046 million and EBITDA MYR 1,607 million. Revenue increased 12 percent year over year, while EBITDA rose 19 percent and PATMI excluding exceptional items climbed 30 percent.
The same Q2 2026 summary puts core EBITDA margin at 23 percent and core PATMI margin at 10 percent. Year-to-date 2026 revenue reached MYR 13,599 million, up 8 percent, while EBITDA stood at MYR 3,042 million, up 13 percent.
Margin guidance stays at 22 to 24 percent
IHH Healthcare maintained EBITDA margin guidance of 22 percent to 24 percent for the remainder of 2026, according to Yahoo Finance in the Q2 earnings call transcript. Management linked the performance to patient intensity and admissions, with Malaysia revenue and EBITDA growing 15 percent and 29 percent respectively on a constant-currency basis.
The operating mix also highlights the main execution issue. Singapore is recovering, while higher medical costs and the pace of patient-volume growth will determine whether fixed-cost leverage converts the current revenue expansion into wider margins.
Analysts see a higher valuation
