- Fabricato presented PRINT LAB as a new digital printing laboratory for natural fibers.
- The technology is designed to expand textile personalization and product development for fashion brands.
Fabricato presented PRINT LAB, a new digital textile printing laboratory, during the ZOOM: The Art of Focus event in Medellin on October 21 and 22, according to Código Malva.
Digital Printing Targets Brands
The laboratory uses reactive inks to print directly on natural fibers. Fabricato said the approach offers greater design precision, more personalization options and added flexibility during textile development.
The initiative is aimed at designers, fashion labels and other industry partners seeking distinctive materials. It also allows teams to test graphic motifs, colors and compositions while retaining the tactile qualities of natural fibers.
Finishes Broaden Textile Offer
Fabricato also presented textile developments including leather-effect finishes, Sulfur dyeing, ZERO° technology and a coconut-based vegan antibacterial finish. These products combine visual effects with functional features such as freshness, comfort and durability.
The presentation adds digital printing and specialized finishing capabilities to Fabricato's development portfolio. For investors, the move highlights the company's focus on product differentiation and closer cooperation with fashion brands rather than a single-volume manufacturing proposition.
