DBS keeps THB 7.20 target for HomePro stock
Published on 10/06/2026 at 02:35 | Editorial responsibility: Rafael Müller, Editor-in-Chief AD HOC NEWSOn September 22, 2026, DBS kept its THB 7.20 target and HOLD recommendation for Home Product Center, commonly known as HomePro. The report links the valuation case to margin improvement while describing same-store sales growth as soft in the third quarter of 2026.
Forecast profit rises 1.9 percent
DBS forecasts fiscal 2026 net profit of THB 6,123 million, compared with THB 6,011 million in fiscal 2025, a 1.9 percent increase. Its fiscal 2026 revenue forecast is THB 68,027 million, up from THB 67,888 million in fiscal 2025, while fiscal 2027 revenue is forecast at THB 70,691 million.
The comparison points to modest earnings growth rather than a rapid recovery. DBS forecasts fiscal 2027 net profit at THB 6,457 million, which would be higher than its fiscal 2026 forecast by THB 334 million.
Margins meet softer demand
DBS expects margin gains to cushion weaker same-store sales growth in the third quarter of 2026. The research note says HomePro is targeting nine additional stores in fiscal 2026, including one new HomePro store, one new hybrid store and seven conversions to the hybrid format.
The same report identifies supply-chain optimization, operating efficiency and private-label products as drivers of gross-margin expansion of 10 to 20 basis points annually over the medium to long term. It also cites weaker consumer confidence and intense retail competition as risks to the forecast.
SET price remains below yearly high
HomePro trades on the Stock Exchange of Thailand under ticker HMPRO and ISIN TH0661010007, according to Global Banking and Finance. Finance data put the stock at THB 6.60 on October 5, 2026 at 4:39 p.m. ICT, against a THB 6.65 prior close.
The THB 6.60 quote sits 13.16 percent below the THB 7.60 52-week high and above the THB 5.75 low. Market capitalization stood at THB 85.2 billion on October 5, 2026, giving the analyst target a clear valuation context without relying on a foreign-currency conversion.
Results date adds a near-term checkpoint
InvestPane lists October 27, 2026 as HomePro's next earnings date. The same market profile places the company in the consumer cyclical sector and home improvement retail industry, with SET50 membership.
For investors, the central test is whether margin expansion can offset subdued store-level demand. The fiscal 2026 forecast of THB 6,123 million net profit and the planned nine-store expansion provide two measurable markers for that assessment.
