Flutter Entertainment stock was EUR 68.00 at Lang & Schwarz on October 8, 2026 at 10:45 a.m. CEST, down 0.37 percent from the EUR 68.25 prior close. The latest market catalyst came on October 7, when Citi upgraded the shares from Neutral to Buy and set a USD 91.00 price target, as Investing.com reported.
Citi resets the valuation debate
The upgrade puts a fresh number against a stock that had recently traded near its 52-week low of USD 73.50. Citi argued that regulatory uncertainty around Brazil and customer-friendly U.S. sports results had created an excessive discount, giving the USD 91.00 target a concrete reference point.
That target is still below Flutter's earlier USD 93.00 objective cited in the same October 7 market coverage, so the rating change is more constructive than the target revision. For investors, the key issue is whether a Buy view can absorb Brazil-related revenue risk and higher promotional spending in the United States.
Revenue grew as profit turned negative
Flutter's quarterly report for the period ended June 30, 2026 showed revenue of USD 4.326 billion, up 3.32 percent from USD 4.187 billion a year earlier. The filing also showed a GAAP net loss of USD 296.0 million, compared with net income of USD 37.0 million in the second quarter of 2025, while diluted earnings per share moved to a loss of USD 1.57 from USD 0.59, according to Flutter Entertainment.
The same report recorded USD 95.0 million of legal loss contingencies and USD 80.0 million of restructuring and integration costs in the quarter. Those items help explain why revenue growth did not translate into quarterly GAAP profit.
Stock remains below its yearly high
Flutter's NYSE listing under ticker FLUT had a USD 73.50 to USD 255.26 52-week range as of October 7, 2026, while market capitalization stood at USD 13.2 billion. The gap between the current market value and the analyst target therefore remains tied to execution, regulation and the path back to positive earnings.
What the next report must show
Flutter's investor calendar lists third-quarter 2026 results for November 4, 2026. That report will give the market a new test of U.S. customer trends, international profitability and the financial effect of the Brazil suspension.
At Lang & Schwarz, Flutter stock was trading at EUR 68.00 on October 8, 2026 at 10:45 a.m. CEST, minus 0.37 percent versus the EUR 68.25 prior close at Lang & Schwarz on October 7, 2026. The further course of trading is shown by the continuously updated real-time quote of Flutter stock.
