- Avino reported stronger revenue, mine operating income and operating cash flow for the third quarter.
- The company reduced its 2026 silver-equivalent production outlook while raising cost guidance.
- La Preciosa development remains central to the planned expansion of future production.
Avino Silver & Gold Mines reported stronger revenue for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, but lowered its full-year production outlook. The company said in its Q3 financial results release on Wednesday, November 4, that revenue rose 59 percent year over year to 33.4 million US dollars.
Revenue rises as guidance falls
Mine operating income increased 50 percent to 14.8 million US dollars. Net income was 6.1 million US dollars, or 0.03 US dollars per diluted share, while adjusted earnings reached 14.3 million US dollars, or 0.08 US dollars per share. The company said reported earnings were affected by non-cash deferred-tax movements and unrealized derivative losses.
Operating cash flow rose 52 percent to 12.7 million US dollars, and operating cash before working-capital adjustments increased 69 percent to 12.3 million US dollars. EBITDA grew 12 percent to 12.8 million US dollars.
Lower output, higher cost outlook
Avino produced 582,836 silver-equivalent ounces in the quarter, including 303,189 ounces of silver. The company now expects 2.2 million to 2.5 million silver-equivalent ounces in 2026, compared with its previous range of 2.4 million to 2.7 million ounces.
Using 2026 budget ratios, all-in sustaining cost guidance rose to 30 to 32 US dollars per payable silver-equivalent ounce from 25 to 27 US dollars. Avino attributed the changes to development work at La Preciosa, lower-grade development ore and revised mine sequencing at the Avino operation.
Mexico-focused silver producer
Avino Silver & Gold Mines is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, and operates as a precious-metals exploration and mining company focused on silver, gold and copper. Its principal producing and development activities are in Mexico, including the Avino mine and La Preciosa. The company is smaller and more specialized than diversified global mining groups, with its outlook closely tied to mine development, production volumes and metal prices.
