ASUS announced a 64GB configuration of its Ascent GX10 AI supercomputer on October 2, 2026, giving Asus stock a fresh product catalyst as the company expands its local AI hardware portfolio. The system delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance, while two units can be clustered for up to 2 petaflops of compute, according to ASUS.

AI hardware moves beyond PCs

The Ascent GX10 64GB is built around NVIDIA's GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip and includes 64GB of unified memory. ASUS says the system is designed to run open-source models with 30 billion to 35 billion parameters locally, supporting developers, researchers and data scientists.

The product also gives ASUS a way to address demand for smaller, locally deployed AI systems. A two-unit cluster can combine 128GB of unified memory and up to 546GB/s of memory bandwidth, according to ASUS.

Second-quarter numbers set the bar

ASUS reported TWD 241.00 billion of brand revenue in the second quarter of 2026, up 39.00 percent year over year. Operating profit reached TWD 19.60 billion, an increase of 230.00 percent, while net profit after tax rose to TWD 19.00 billion, up 94.00 percent, according to Yahoo Finance.

The mix explains why AI infrastructure matters. Server revenue doubled in the second quarter, while PC revenue grew 20.00 percent year over year. ASUS also raised its full-year server growth target to at least 150.00 percent from 100.00 percent, and commercial PC revenue has grown by more than 50.00 percent for six consecutive quarters, the earnings call said.

Results date sets the next checkpoint

ASUS stock was quoted at TWD 962.00 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange on October 4, 2026, matching the prior close. The same market context places the 52-week range at TWD 496.00 to TWD 1,025.00, with market capitalization at TWD 714.50 billion as of September 30, 2026.

The next earnings release is scheduled for November 10, 2026, according to InvestPane. That report will test whether server expansion and AI PC demand can sustain the second-quarter growth profile while memory costs remain a pressure point.
