- ADEKA increased its fiscal-year sales, operating-profit and net-income forecasts for the year ending March 2027.
- Management cited strong Chemicals sales in semiconductor applications, automotive, consumer electronics, housing and infrastructure.
- The company is scheduled to publish second-quarter fiscal 2027 results on November 11, 2026.
ADEKA raised its outlook for the six months ending September 30, 2026 and for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, according to an analysis updated by Simply Wall St on October 30. The revision points to stronger expected earnings as the company enters the second half of its fiscal year.
Higher forecasts target fiscal 2027
ADEKA now expects fiscal-year sales of 462 billion yen, operating profit of 50 billion yen and profit attributable to owners of the parent of 32 billion yen. The company also raised its earnings-per-share forecast to 329.98 yen.
For the six months ended September 30, ADEKA's revised targets call for sales of 222 billion yen, operating profit of 24.4 billion yen and profit attributable to owners of the parent of 16.6 billion yen. The analysis said management linked the stronger outlook to Chemicals sales, including semiconductor applications associated with artificial-intelligence demand, as well as automotive, consumer-electronics, housing and infrastructure markets.
Dividend outlook moves higher
ADEKA raised its second-quarter dividend forecast to 66 yen per share from 60 yen. The full-year dividend forecast is 132 yen per share, compared with 112 yen for the previous fiscal year. The company says its medium-term policy targets a payout ratio of at least 40% while continuing growth investment.
The analyst assessment also lifted its price target for ADEKA from 3,200 yen to 4,700 yen. That estimate reflects changes to the assumed discount rate, growth and profit margins, as well as a higher future price-to-earnings multiple. The target is an external valuation view, not company guidance.
