In a September 17, 2026 HKEX filing, Zijin Mining said its wholly owned subsidiary Zijin Xiamen Equity had entered into a partnership agreement on September 15 to participate as a limited partner in the Shidai Shenyuan Fund. The subsidiary committed RMB 1 billion for a 20.41 percent subscription interest in the fund, whose total committed capital is RMB 4.9 billion and whose term is seven years, according to the HKEX filing. The fund focuses on artificial intelligence, embodied AI, technology applications and frontier technologies, including potential uses in resource exploration and smart mine construction.
