On September 8, 2026, Williams announced that it had priced a public offering of $2.75 billion in senior notes. The offering comprised notes due in 2029, 2033, 2036 and 2056, and the company said it intended to use the net proceeds to repay commercial paper and for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures. Momentum Midstream acquisition completed
Williams also announced on September 3, 2026, that it had closed its acquisition of Momentum Midstream in a transaction valued at approximately $5.5 billion.
