Contracts span Brazil and Greece

On September 16, 2026, Vallourec said it had been awarded a contract by Subsea7 for carbon-steel seamless line pipe and thermal-insulation coating for Petrobras’ Sepia 2 project offshore Brazil.

The contract covers approximately 130 kilometers of rigid risers and flowlines, representing more than 15,000 tons of sour-service carbon-steel line pipe. Vallourec said the pipes will be produced at its Jeceaba mill in Brazil, with thermal-insulation coating applied at its Serra plant.

In a separate September 18 announcement, Vallourec said EnEarth, a subsidiary of Energean, selected it to supply premium tubular solutions for the first phase of the Prinos CO2 Carbon Storage project in Greece.

That contract covers approximately 3,000 tons of casing pipes and accessories. Vallourec said Prinos aims to convert a depleted oil reservoir into a permanent CO2 storage site, with targeted injection capacity of up to 2.8 million tons per year.
