Tyson Foods, Inc. updated its fiscal 2026 outlook on September 3, citing additional pressure in its Beef segment during the fourth quarter. The company said the update reflected margin compression, volatile cattle prices and a severe cattle shortage. Tyson now expects fiscal 2026 revenue growth of 1.5 percent to 2.0 percent and total company adjusted operating income of $1.85 billion to $2.05 billion. Its adjusted Beef segment outlook is an operating loss of $775 million to $625 million, while adjusted Chicken segment operating income is expected at $1.85 billion to $1.95 billion.
