Steel division sets medium-term targets
In a September 28, 2026 release, thyssenkrupp said its Steel Europe subsidiary was targeting medium-term adjusted EBITDA of at least EUR 1.2 billion, an adjusted EBITDA margin of at least 11 percent and positive free cash flow. The subsidiary said self-help measures were expected to contribute more than EUR 800 million in EBITDA, with more than half of those measures contractually agreed and under implementation.
Reuters reported on October 5 that Thyssenkrupp was targeting October 28 for a separate German listing of 49 percent of its materials trading division, tk accelis, citing two people familiar with the matter. The company told Reuters only that the listing was planned by the end of 2026.
