Accelerator program adds nine brands

Tesco announced on October 2 that nine brands had joined its 2026 Accelerator Programme, the sixth cohort. The company said the year-long program provides mentoring with its buying team, targeted learning and opportunities for participating brands to develop their businesses. Tesco said the program has supported more than 90 brands to date. Tesco identified the nine brands as Citizens of Soil, Glug, Dedcalm, Mr Chens, Frood, Eaten Alive, Nice Rice, Coco Gen and Skinner’s.

New Finest food range

In a separate October 1 announcement, Tesco said it was launching a Finest range of meat products made with three or six ingredients. The range includes beef burgers, beef meatballs, pork sausages and pork chipolatas, and is available online and in more than 340 large and Express stores. Tesco said all four products are gluten-free and contain no added preservatives.
