Tauron reports arbitration suspension and first-half EBITDA of PLN 3.697 billion

The arbitration tribunal issued the decision on October 1, 2026, and Tauron said it would provide a separate report on the further course or conclusion of the proceedings. First-half results
For the six months ended June 30, 2026, the Tauron Group reported EBITDA of PLN 3.697 billion and net income of PLN 1.565 billion. Sales revenue increased 3 percent year over year to PLN 17.201 billion, while capital expenditures rose 6 percent to PLN 2.423 billion. The company said net debt to EBITDA stood at 1.2 times at the end of June, compared with 1.5 times a year earlier. TAURON Polska Energia’s press office released the figures on September 10, 2026.
Electricity production totaled 6.77 terawatt-hours in the first half, up 24 percent from the year-earlier period. Distribution services covered 6.08 million customers and delivered 26.71 terawatt-hours of electricity, up 3 percent year over year.
